Carolyn practices in all areas of Intellectual Property, Administrative and Commercial Law.

Carolyn has broad experience in patent litigation, trade marks, copyright, passing-off, breaches of the Trade Practices Act and misuse of confidential information.  She has particular expertise in complex patent litigation, particularly in the fields of pharmaceutical and biotechnology patents having been involved in proceedings in both the Federal Court and AIPO.

In addition to holding a Bachelor of Science with majors in pharmacology, physiology and biochemistry, she also holds a Bachelor of Laws with Honours and a Master of Intellectual Property Law.

Carolyn is a Registered Trade Mark attorney

Before coming to the Bar, she was a Senior Associate at Corrs Chambers Westgarth in the intellectual property team.  Prior to that, she worked as a litigation solicitor at Davies Collison Cave in Melbourne, after commencing her legal career at a boutique IP firm.

Carolyn is admitted in the Federal Courts, Victoria and the ACT.

She is a member of the Intellectual Property Society of Australia and New Zealand (IPSANZ) and the Institute of Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys (IPTA).
